Yune is performing more and more frequently and is gaining a lot of fans. There are lots of opportunities to see her this summer, including her first road trip! Here are all the details for this month…

July 7th – Idol Fantasista

Yune listening to the audienceYune will sing a set at a daytime live event in Tokyo, along with a number of other idols and idol units. There will also be goods sales where you can meet and chat with Yune and get a picture taken with her.

When: Saturday July 7th, 11:30 – 15:15
The show opens at 11:30 for an 11:45 start. Yune will appear on stage at 12:20. She is running “parallel” goods sales which means you can meet her just before or more likely just after her set at tables outside the stage area (or to one side).

Where: Otoyoko, Ueno, Tokyo (map)
Ueno Otoyoko is a typical basement live house close to Ueno station. The station is easy to reach, but is very spread out with many exits. Make sure to use an online map so you don’t get lost when coming out.

Tickets: 2600 yen if you make a reservation, 3100 yen on the door. Either way you must also buy one drink ticket on the door (500 yen).
See below for making reservations to save money and help Yune, it’s easy.

July 8th – Valley✕Valley✕Tokyo Idol Live Vol. 6

An unusual collection of idols in this event, it should be very interesting. The usual format of each idol unit playing one after another, with Yune singing a set. Afterwards there will be goods sales and a chance to get pictures with the idols.

When: Sunday July 8th, The show opens at 18:00 for an 18:20 start. It runs until 21:35.
Yune is on stage first at 18:20. She will have goods sales shortly after she finishes her set. She’ll be on the goods stand until 19:35.

Where: VALLEY✕VALLEY✕TOKYO, Uguisudani, Tokyo (map)
The venue is quite close to Uguisudani station. Look for the blackboard announcing the live and listing the idols, by a small flight of stairs leading up to the venue.

Tickets: 2000 yen on the door + 1 drink ticket (500 or 600 yen). There doesn’t seem to be a reservation discount, but you will need to say “Sakurai Yuune” on the door when they ask who you came for.

July 15th – Topyell Festival

An all day idol mini-festival in a well-known (but small) venue in easy-to-reach Ikebukuro in Tokyo. There will be many acts all day, with Yune singing one set.

When: Sunday July 15th, 10:00 – 20:00
The show opens at 10:00 for a 10:15 start. Yune’s will appear at 11;20 and her goods sales will start after her set upstairs. There are more acts after the break at 15:30-16:00 (when you have to leave for a while), but you can re-enter without charge for the second part if you wish.

Where: Ruido K3, Ikebukuro, Tokyo (map)
Ruido K3 is a short walk from Ikebukuro station – head for the West exit and keep going West. It’s on a small side street behind the main street. The stage is downstairs, but the goods sales are upstairs. Make sure you hold on to your ticket when you go from stage to goods and back again so you can show the cashier that you have paid.

Note: that this is a small venue and the lineup on this day has many popular acts so it will be very busy. Arrive early so you can get to the front for your act (but allow others to get the front for their favourites – just hover a short way back). Don’t forget to go upstairs for the goods sales, they are easy to miss if you get distracted watching other idols. The goods area is even smaller than the stage area, so go early to get in line.

Tickets: 2400 yen if you make a reservation, 2900 yen on the door. Either way you must also buy one drink ticket on the door (600 yen). See below for making reservations to save money and help Yune, it’s easy.

July 16th – Abeno Lucias Sky Court Live Event, Osaka

Yune will make her first trip to sing in another city, going to Osaka to sing for the first time. She will appear at an event in a “Sky Court” on the 15th floor of a building on a stage with sweeping city views.

When: Monday July 16th, 14:00 – 17:00. Yune will be on from 14:50, with goods sales and a chance to meet her straight afterwards.

July 21st – NEO Festival Mini

Yune Sakurai singing and dancingYune guests at another mini-festival, this time in Tokyo mid-town. A very full line-up of underground idols and idol units that will run most of the day. As usual you can meet Yune, have a chat and take a picture with her at the goods sales after her turn.

When: Saturday July 21st, 11:30 – 20:30
Doors open at 11:00 for an 11:30 start. Yune will appear from 12:30 to 12:50 and have goods sales from 13:00 – 14:00

Where: Pony Canyon, Tokyo (map)
The live is being held in the ground floor “event space” of a media company called Pony Canyon. It’s near Toranomon station and the tall Mori tower.

Tickets:3000 yen if you make a reservation, 3500 yen on the door. Either way you must also buy one drink ticket on the door (500 yen).
See below for making reservations to save money and help Yune, it’s easy.

By the way, for great views of Tokyo without the painfully long queues at the Skytree head to the Tokyo City View in the Mori tower nearby. It’s not too expensive or crowded, has nice cafes and an art gallery. Usually you can head up to the skydeck helipad and look over the city in the open air. Much better than Skytree and Tokyo Tower in my opinion.

July 22nd – Petit Bear Photoshoot – SOLD OUT

A photoshoot and off-party with Yune and three other idol/models.

Update: This event sold out immediately when it was announced. But Yune does quite a lot of photoshoots so there will be other opportunities!

July 28th – Tokyo Idol Theatre Solo Live

Yune has secured another solo slot at a prestigious Tokyo Idol Theatre event. These events feature better known underground idols. Each artist gets a dedicated mini event with a longer than usual setlist.

Yune ModellingWhen: Saturday July 28th, 11:40 – 12:55
Yune’s stage opens at 11:40, and ends at 12:15. Afterwards, from 12:20 goods sales will be held in the area outside the stage. You will be able to meet and get a picture with Yune. There are many other idols on in the same venue that day.

Where: Shidax Hall, Shibuya, Tokyo (map)
The Shidax Culture Hall is in a distinctive building very close to the famous Tower Records in Shibuya (on the opposite side of the road). The venue location is on the 8th floor. Exiting the elevator, the hall entrance is to your left. The area in front of and beyond the entrance is used for goods sales.

Tickets: You can buy advance tickets for Yune’s show, or any of the other idols in the same venue that day from livepocket (wait and it will convert to English). Note that Yune’s name comes up as “Yuson Sakurai” in the translation. Each show is 1000 yen. You can also buy front row seats or an all day pass (called an “A ticket”). First sale tickets are awarded by lottery, “secondary sales” will occur if the lottery sales don’t run out (get one of these if you don’t get an email confirming you won in the first sales). It’s a bit confusing but the hall doesn’t usually get full so you will not have a problem getting an ordinary ticket.

Each ticket has an “admission number” allocated at random and when the show starts they will call out numbers in order and you enter when your number comes up. If you don’t know Japanese, you will need to ask for help.

If the shows don’t sell out, you can buy a ticket on the door at the same price of 1000 yen. People who buy on the door must wait until the end to enter, they will say “toujitsuken no kata” (day ticket people) when it is your turn.

There are no reservations for this event. You can take pictures and movies in Yune’s event. You can’t use flash, and must stand at the back if you want to use a tripod. Other events have different rules, translate the lineup page for details.
