June 3rd – Polka Dot Festival Vol. 17

This all day festival event has a huge number of idols playing and is cheap for such a long event – well worth the trip.

When: June 3rd, 2018. The event lasts from 11:00 until 21:45. The time of Yune’s appearance has not been announced but it will be in the morning or afternoon. This entry will be updated when her time and goods sales is announced.

Where: Aube Shibuya, Tokyo. A live house a short walk from Shibuya station. Take the elevator to the 5F. Be careful as it is easy to get the street level entrance mixed up with another building – check the signs for the Aube name.

Tickets: 2000 yen on the door (women half price) + 2 drink tickets (another 1000 yen). Re-entry is permitted in this long event, so you can go out and grab some food then return later.

June 9th – Idol Spotting Vol. 19

Yune will appear at a major idol event in Yokohama along with many other idols. There will be goods sales and a chance to meet Yune. Unusually, goods sales will be *before* Yune’s turn on stage. Note that this event sometimes has fun props to use when taking pictures with the idols (guns, large fish etc.), look around to see if they are there.

When: June 9th, 2018. The event runs from 15:45 until 18:45. Yune will first have goods sales from 16:50 – 17:40 just outside the stage entrance. Yune’s turn on stage is at 18:05 – 18:15. Full schedule (Japanese)

After the end of the show, the idols including Yune will be interviewed for an idol live streaming show. Yune will be on with several other idols from 19:00 – 19:30. You can join the audience for this part, but you must pay another fee (1900 yen + one drink ticket). Only advisable if you understand Japanese.

Where:  O-site, Yokohama
Yokohama is easily reachable from Tokyo. The O-site venue is in a cinema building quite close to the main station. The entrance and stage is on the third floor (which might mean the second floor to you because in Japan the ground floor is called the first floor). Goods sales are held in the area outside the stage door.

Tickets: 1900 yen if you make a reservation, 2400 yen on the door. Either way you must also buy two drink tickets on the door (1000 yen). See below for making reservations to save money and help Yune, it’s easy.

June 10th – Tokyo Idol Theatre

Yune has secured a solo slot at a prestigious Tokyo Idol Theatre event. These events feature the current best underground idols and some of these will go on to the big time from here. Each artist gets a dedicated mini event with a longer than usual setlist. This will be the second longest set that Yune has performed, but she is more than capable. In her last long setlist, she segued several songs together into one continuous song. This is a highly recommended event.

When: June 10th, 2018. Yune’s stage opens at 12:20, and ends at 12:50. Afterwards, from 12:55 goods sales will be held in the area outside the stage. You will be able to meet and get a picture with Yune. There are many other good idols on in the same venue that day.

Where: Shidax Hall, Shibuya, Tokyo
The Shidax Culture Hall is in a distinctive building very close to the famous Tower Records in Shibuya (on the opposite side of the road). The venue location is on the 8th floor. Exiting the elevator, the hall entrance is to your left. The area in front of and beyond the entrance is used for goods sales.

Tickets: You can buy advance tickets for Yune’s show, or any of the other idols in the same venue that day from livepocket (in English). Note that Yune’s name comes up as “Yuson Sakurai” in the translation. Each show is 1000 yen. You can buy an all day pass for 4500 yen (called an “A ticket”), but who gets those tickets is selected by lottery (on May 26th).

Each ticket has an “admission number” allocated at random and when the show starts they will call out numbers in order and you enter when your number comes up. If you don’t know Japanese, you will need to ask for help.

If the shows don’t sell out, you can buy a ticket on the door at the same price of 1000 yen. People who buy on the door must wait until the end to enter, they will say “toujitsuken no kata” (day ticket people) when it is your turn.

There are no reservations for this event.
